Former Bull B. J. Armstrong joins Quinn in youth outreach
Gov. Pat Quinn today joined forces with retired Chicago Bulls guard B.J. Armstrong to promote exercise and sportsmanship as alternatives to youth violence. Quinn named Armstrong as his "Senior Adviser for Youth Outreach" at a news conference. In the newly-created "honorary" position, Armstrong will give Quinn's office advice on how to curb youth obesity and get children and teens more engaged in their communities.
